Adult Degree Center at Carlow....30 Years of Service
The Adult Degree Center (ADC) was created to serve the needs of adult learners that have been out of high school four or more years. The ADC provides adults flexible scheduling options, multiple locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh area, and accelerated class formats for working adults who want to complete their degrees quickly.
More history about Carlow's Adult Degree Center programs:
- CAP - Carlow Accelerated Program
In 1988, the Carlow Accelerated Program (CAP) began offering evening classes Monday through Thursday. CAP sessions meet one evening every week for eight consecutive weeks. Five CAP sessions are scheduled each year starting in January, March, May, August, and October. The RN and BSN Fast-Track program is offered in an 18-month accelerated day format.
- WEC - Carlow Weekend College
In 1978, Carlow went where few institutions of higher education had gone - accelerated classes especially designed for working adults. Carlow Weekend College classes meet every other weekend (eight class sessions) over a 16-week period. WEC classes meet on Friday evenings, Saturdays (morning or afternoon), or Sundays. Three WEC sessions are offered during each year, starting in January, May, and August.
